Oil Spill Response Equipment
Oil Boom
SLICKBAR®'s Oil Boom uses fiber ballast, an environmentally friendly ballast that does not react in water. SLICKBAR®'s Oil Boom is the only Oil Boom with a 1 : 3 freeboard to overal ration in the world. The components are detachable for easy maintenace. Damaged components can be replaced separately. Float design is unique with three functions, as a handgrip, as bouyancy, and to prevent splash over. The material of float is made from G.R.P (fiber cell) with no porosity and highly durable. Available types are GRP cell filled with PU foam, PE cell filled with PU Foam, and hollow PE cell (patent number : ID 0 005 933). Production Management Systems have been approved by LLOYD's Register Quality Assurance to the International Quality Standards ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
Oil Skimmer
The SLICKDISC Skimmer Head is a lightweight, portable and inter-changeable disc/brush skimmer designed to recover floating oil from ports, harbours, rivers and coastal areas. The SLICKDISC Skimmer Head is made from G.R.P which is corrosion free and highly durable. The skimming modules can be easily changed from disc to brush. The SLICKDISC Skimmer Head and scrapers are specially designed with modular system to make installation and dismantling easier. Scrapers are made from special oil resistant materials which can be used in any type of oil.
Oil Storage
SLICKBAR® Storage Tank technology has two types: on-line storage tank and floating storage tank. SLICKBAR® Storage Tank provides a flexible and reliable solution to temporary containment of polluting liquids. SLICKBAR® Storage Tank can withstand a liquid temperature of up to 158°F. SLICKBAR® Storage Tank is durable, lightweight, and compact when it folded. It can be easily transported world-wide. It has fully welded seams and constructed from oil resistant material. SLICKBAR® Storage Tank is made from oil-resistant polyurethane-coated polyester.
Oil Spill Dispersant
Oil Spill Dispersant is a number of alternatif methods for Oil Spill Combating with chemical agent. Oil Spill Dispersant is a mixture of emulsifiers and solvents help break oil into small droplets following an oil spill. Small droplets are easier to disperse throughout a water volume and small droplets may be mnore readily biodegraded by microbes. Dispersant use involves a trade-off between exposing coastal life to surface oil and exposing aquatic life to dispersed oil. Dispersant should be applied by spraying as soon as possible after the oil spill. Dispersants are designed for use salt water and normally work in water environment. As a general rule, there must be sufficent water exchange in the area where dispersant are applied.
Absorbent And Spill Kit
An oil spill clean up is not finished operation until the last traces of oil have been removed from the contaminated area. Removal of the last of oil sheen on water or oil stranded on beaches shows to the press and authorities that the clean up has been done successfully and professionally. Absorbent is said to absorb oil if the oil attracted to the surface of the sorbent. The advantages of using absorbent are: absorbent can remove last sheen of oil absorbent, it can recover very little water, and it is light and easy to handle. The use of absorbing material is relevant for smaller spills or for the final treatment oil spill or chemical spill in a larger operation. The use of absorbant is a measure to be considered as a first immediate response to be follow up the use or more specific and appropriate materials.

SLICKBAR® Oil Spill Monitoring System can be used in a wide variety of industrial and environmental applications to remotely detect oil spills, and to provide instant detection and notification. SLICKBAR® Oil spill monitoring systems is ideal for detection of oil spills and sheen in fresh brackish or saltwater environments. it is equally suitable for oil detection over solid substrates such as earth, concrete, metal and etc. The optical sensor detects small (micron-level) amounts of oil in real-time and can be configured to automatically shut off pumps and valves, activate audio and visual alarms, and notify personnel and respondders via computer display and or telephone

Ancillary Equipment
To complete the equipment system, SLICKBAR® provides a number of ancillary equipment that is used together with the main equipment. Our ancillary equipment is made from high quality materials. Our Riser and Track are specifically designed for permanent installation of oil booms. The Riser is attached to the connector, allowing the boom to move up and down to follow the movement of waves, and the water level during low and high tides. The Track is the part on which the riser moves up and down.
Container
SLICKBAR® container is manufactured by a team of experts based on ISO 668: 1995 standard on the scope of dimensions and rating on BS EN 12079-1: 2006 container and standard for lifting testing. SLICKBAR® containers are used to store spilled oil counting equipment, such as oil boom, oil skimmer, oil storage, and other complementary equipment. The container is equipped with four lifter hooks on the top of each side of the container corner for easy appointment.
